Work With Me

In addition to her studio practice, Ashley offers creative practice coaching and workshops for individuals, schools, organizations, and businesses. Her facilitation centers on creativity as a tool for connection, reflection, and transformation. She supports participants in building sustainable practices, working through burnout and creative blocks, and reconnecting with resilience, joy, and awe.

She believes that cultivating a sustainable creative practice is essential for creating balance between work and life, and for reconnecting us to ourselves and to each other. In a culture shaped by speed, productivity, and burnout, her work creates space to slow down, reconnect, and rebuild through curiosity, play, and attention.

  • building a sustainable creative practice
  • moving through perfectionism, burnout, or creative blocks
  • developing ideas, themes, and personal visual language
  • reconnecting with play, experimentation, and intuition
  • balancing artmaking with teaching, caregiving, or everyday life

This work is grounded in reflection, curiosity, and the belief that creative practice can be a meaningful tool for healing, clarity, and connection.

Workshops

Ashley offers workshops for schools, galleries, libraries, organizations, and community groups. Sessions are adaptable and may include:

  • zine-making and storytelling
  • collage and mixed-media experimentation
  • sketchbook practice, commonplace books, and visual journaling
  • creative habit building
  • process-based artmaking
  • art as reflection, connection, and meaning-making
  • collaborative and community-based creative experiences
  • art education praxis
  • prompts, play, and ideation strategies
  • mindfulness and creativity
  • systems and practices to prevent burnout

Her facilitation style is playful, thoughtful, inclusive, and process-driven, creating spaces where people feel supported to explore, take risks, and connect.

For Organizations + Teams

Ashley partners with businesses, schools, and organizations to design creative experiences that support wellbeing, collaboration, and sustainable work practices.

Her approach is grounded in the belief that creative practice is not separate from work or life, but woven into both the big and small moments. It is a way of thinking, noticing, and relating that can transform how we show up in our work and with each other.

Through workshops and facilitated sessions, she helps teams:

  • move through burnout and creative fatigue
  • build resilience, adaptability, and creative confidence
  • reconnect with curiosity, play, and experimentation
  • strengthen communication and collaboration
  • cultivate moments of joy, presence, and awe within everyday work

These experiences are not about making “good art,” but about making space for reflection, connection, and new ways of thinking and seeing.

Offerings can be tailored for:

  • team retreats
  • professional development
  • wellness programming
  • leadership and creative thinking sessions

Community Work

Ashley’s work bridges the studio, the classroom, and the community. Whether through exhibitions, workshops, collaborative projects, or coaching, she creates spaces that invite people to slow down, notice more deeply, and connect with themselves and others through creative practice.
